Is downloading Blizzard supposed to take all day?

Now, I have a relatively new computer..
mabye 1 1/2 years old?
Not bad.
But, I've gotten the game and all that jazz, downloaded it. Payed the bill.
Now it says I've got to download Blizzard. Whatever, nothing special. So I hit 'download now' and 15 min. later, I come back... and no sign of progress! Not any at all!
So I go to close out of it, and it says 'not responding.'
Wtf?
Help me, please?

Check any firewall settings that are blocking it.. and tell me if you have any of the following setups behind your internet: router or proxy

Normally unless you have cable, satelite, or dsl it will take forever because of your internet conection.
