i'll take the depatch part first.
first of make sure you got the version 2.1.2 wich you do have if you play regular wow ;D .
okay here it goes.
1.inside your wow directory there is a map called "data"
inside that map you'll find a file called "patch.mpq" delete that one.
but do not delete patch2.mpq or any other file.
2.inside your wow directory there is something called repair.exe
start it up. and cross all the boxe's there is and press "reset and check files only" its the biggest button , highest up in the right corner.
3. when its done with the repairing you're back at version 2.0.0 (1355?) or something xD its 2.0.0 of that iam sure.
4.now you need to download 2 patches
If you're using enbg these are the patche's wich need to be downloaded
WoW-2[1].0.3-enGB-patch
and
wow-2[1].0.3.6299-to-2.0.12.6546-engb-patch
if you use enUS these are the ones that needs to be downloaded.
WoW-2[1].0.3-enUS-patch
wow-2[1].0.3.6299-to-2.0.12.6546-enus-patch
5. when you downloaded both of these.
start by installing WoW-2[1].0.3-enGB-patch or the enUS if you got the US version.
after that install the wow-2[1].0.3.6299-to-2.0.12.6546-engb-patch or the enUS one if you have the enUS version of wow.
make sure that you are quick on your finger , because you have to close the launcher after each install REALLY quick because otherwise it starts updating to 2.1.2 again, and we dont want that do we now.
thats the depatching part .
as it comes for the Server configuration its REALLY easy. when you've unrared the cynet repack and extracted the map's and db's into the cynetrepack folder.
download and install navicat.
then after that.
set up your navicat connection exactly as the the realmdb says wich is
Host - 127.0.0.1
username - magnos
Password - mangos
port - 3306
database - realmdb
once you're in the db open up the realmdb table, edit the IP from "127.0.0.1" to your external IP wich you can get from
www.whatsmyip.org
one's thats done edit the realm name to whatever you wish, restart mysql , then start them in this order.
mysql - > server - > website.
GRATZ you now have a working server online ! ^^
As for the logger, its still under developement. it will be relleased here on GG when we have the time to finish it, though you dont need the logger to run the server.
