The first two files you have to download before the patch...does that really install WoW? They're only 3mb put together, but WoW should be over 1gb.

I don't want to click on those downloaded things until I know for sure that it's legit..

It's a WoW downloader program, u install it then it will start d/ling WoW straight from the WoW official website.
