SO Blizzard is working on a new expansion...

...What are your guesses?

Mine's is about Emerald Realms. WoW is going to be up to lvl 90 so there's going to be these huge demons world, which were the original enemies in warcraft 1. For level 100 I feel they will invent something completely new and original.Since its their last expansion they can do anything. Ahhhh ill miss wow.

Apparently at 90 youll be able to solo MC (!) even going to be a quest. They're going for something quite different in this one. My only problem is that i dont like green. And while were at it i dont like raiding in WOTLK i hope it changes, althought it was an improvement over TBC (tbc raids were painfullll)

Sooo what are all your view? What will be the new expansion on?

Hehe I was reading about this just the other day, too. Wish I could find the link again. But according to the site, Blizzard is working on World of Warcraft's final two expansions. They are going to be about the Emerald Dream and the Maelstrom (the event which tore the megacontinent apart, leaving EK and Kalimdor).

Emerald Dream's portals already exist, and since Wrath came out, Emeriss (world dragon boss) went missing. Ysera is also in the game now (he's asleep in Dragonblight), which only means they're laying down the groundwork to the Emerald Dream. Gamewise, the actual ED zones will be under the old-world continents (there's already a lot of unfinished unaccessible ED zones in your gamefiles, they're just going to be expanded).

Lorewise, ED and Maelstrom is all they have left to cover in the World of Warcraft. I'm going to miss it too. But my god, having an L100 character is going to be SCARY. 120k Tanks, anyone?

Oh, WoW will never really die. After it's all gone, there will be fan-servers. It's happened with many old MMORPGS.

Well people have already solo'd Onyxia, look up paladin soloing onyxia on youtube. And it will be very weird with 90's, going to be nearly impossible for any newcomers to get all the way from 1 to 90. One thing that should be nice though is the next hero class. I am guessing a Demon Hunter, that would be pretty sick.

I want a ranger thats rogue/hunter that doesn't have a pet but is a mix between daggers and bows with range and stealth.

That would be awsome, like the manual says "It is implied that the Maelstrom is slowly drawing the broken islands towards itself, and will ultimately destroy them for good".
I don't think Nagas are that Intimidating though, they better make em huge or something.
But, it would make a Fine Expansion..

Well following the line of other mmorpg's maybe they'll just make the level cap 100 in this expansion. Maybe not =/

Yea I 2 man MC all the time tanking on my rogue. If you have good gear most combinations of classes can 2 man MC up til the last few bosses. Makes those hours I spent wiping on Luci 4 years ago seem sad :(

More likely going to raise the level cap like previously posted.
