How do you make money?

I thought this thread might be helpful to people who need a tip or two on how to make decent money in RS. I personally use fishing, which isn't that good, but I want the skill cape. Sooooo. Just post or vote or w/e.

Well when i was playing (2 years ago) Fishing was the main source of my money. What i used to do is log in with two accounts. (my main and a mule) With my main i used to fish for lobs and swordies at Karamaja, once i had a full pack, i would trade them to my mule and then go to the Port Sarim bank. Then i would continue fishing with my main and repeat the process. But now with the trading limit, i can't do this anymore.

Also Merchanting was good but was ruined once they made the GE. Although you can still do it now.

High WC lvl is good (70+) gather Yews and sell them in the GE. Also a high combat lvl is good as you can kill high lvl monsters for good drops.

BTW are you a F2P or P2P? Its much easier to make money through P2P, Fletching helps

Back when I still played I fished and cooked lobbies and sold them, and mined coal/mith to sell. I logged on about a week ago and found that with everyone being a WC whore and all, the mining guild is strangely empty. I didn't even bother to check the crafting guild and it's gold ore deposits.

So yeah, fishing/cooking/mining.

When I used to play RS I'd collect feathers all day long. Then after collecting at least 15000 I went to chopping wood.

But yeah, granite for real.
Takes like 2 days of mine grinding to get the reqs to mine it.
I don't know about the prices now, but back then I made about 30k a load.
Which is a lot considering the account wasn't even a month old, I even had a Robin Hood hat.
