yea, i got on rs for the first time in a while and saw somebody that was lvl 130 O.o it was kinda scary cuz i was in wildy... but then i figured out there was no more pking D:... rs is getting pretty lame especially with this new skill.

Summoning is mainly an "add-on" to normal Combat skill..... When you summon a Familar (ex. Spirit Wolf) it just helps you fight just training summoning alone would be useless.... Because the pure's skills like Defense would be alot lower than average players due to neglect....

But Overall A great new skill, and it's still early so theirs always that slim chance....

P.S. I hear Summoning affects Combat.

Hardly though, just a few levels.
If you stay at 10 HP and go pure summon you'll only be like level 18.
