Neopet Auto Refresher question

Hi all, just would like to ask does the auto refresher method still works in getting random event items?

there isnt any other way to get RANDOM events ;)

I see, so if I use the fire fox add-on to auto refresh, will my chances of getting a random event increases if i refresh multiple tabs, each having different neopets links?

I see, is the freeze rate high? And also i would still like to know whether the chances of refreshing multiple tabs with different links is higher than just refreshing one page of neopet to get a random event item?

x.x don't use auto-refreshers. if you use ABers and AAers they're basically the same thing as auto-refreshers except you can actually have a chance to get a rare item in a shop or adopt a painted pet.

ohh, but I would like to collect stuff like treasure maps and so, is there any other way than Auto refresher in getting such items.

Refreshing using multiple tabs will get you banned, they said so in a recent Editorial.
