Guilty Pleasures :o

[Chaos Theory]

The other day my girlfriend and I were chilling out to music playing off of my iPhone's 'favourites' playlist, which was on shuffle. We mostly like the same music, so we ended up singing along to most of it like the Sex Pistols, Oasis, Rolling Stones, and more modern stuff like Coldplay, Imogen Heap and Amy Macdonald. Yeah, I know, I got awesome taste in music.

'Sunshine of my Love' had just finished and things were going pretty well until to our horror Britney Spears starts playing. I was embarrassed, my girlfriend was shocked but then eventually we just thought it was hilarious and laughed about it.

Anyways, it got us thinking about guilty pleasures etc. Songs that you despise but are too damn catchy, a cheesy DVD that you secretly love but have to hide whenever cool people swing by at your place, etc. Stuff that you really like but would be ashamed if people knew you did. :P

My list:
1. Neopets

2. On my playlist - 'Breaking Free' from High School Musical, 'Piece of Me' by Britney Spears, 'She Bangs' by Ricky Martin, too many Justin Timberlake songs.

3. I think Hugh Laurie and Anthony Head are hot

4. I was forced against my will to go to a Hillary Duff concert... and I enjoyed it.

2. My plushie crow that caws when you squeeze it, I keep it in another room so people don't realise how much I love it.

3. I roleplay, not live-action, but it involves character sheets. I'd rather people from back home knew about Neopets than about that.

4. Films with talking dogs. yay

5. Ketamine, everyone says it's dirty but it's my favourite drug.


Yeah, Anthony Head is really handsome for an old guy, probably helps that he is cool as fuck. I know I like some other older celebrities too but can't think of them.

Pfft. That's not a guilty pleasure, it's a happy pleasure that you're falsely lead to believe is a guilty one. :P Personally I've never really bothered keeping, but then again I'm secular, so yeah.

Haha. Where I grew up that was nothing to be ashamed of, and in fact being in a D&D club made me really popular. All the kool kids played it. Oh how I miss the days. :(



As for Anthony Head... I really don't have a thing for guys more than twice my age. No, really. I really, really don't. But, I'd take him over Brad Pitt any day. >_>

Oh and it's not D&D I play, it's something modern-based with vampires, werewolves, changing breeds and mages etc... D&D is even nerdier, kudos!

1. My Thomas the Tank engine night light. I have to keep hiding that from my friends when they come to my house. Worst time was when they were going through my movie's and almost found it, luckily my mum called us to go eat at that time... :/

2. Guild Wars. I just can't stop playing it, but I am way to embarrassed to tell my friends that I love playing games like this for endless hours, instead on a PS3.

3. The songs... I have so many which I just have to keep hiding, e.g. Jesse McCartney - Beautiful soul.

4. And I really liked watching the Pride and Prejudice... but its not something every teenage boy would like to watch :s, got teased about liking it and getting a A on my english project for English...

Ok, here is my list:

1. I use a Facebook application called Fairyland daily where I have a fairy that waters my garden and other people's gardens, and the more plants I harvest the higher my level gets. My high school teacher plays it with me. She waters my garden every day.

2. My currently favorite song is a cover of Somebody To Love played in Happy Feet that is sung by Brittany Murphy.

3. Hugs. I know its silly and sometimes awkward when people hug but I dont get them often, and when I do I get this warm and fuzzy feeling.
