my doctor gave me sleeping pills...
they knocked me out within 15 minutes after taking them,
but they made it super hard to wake up in the morning.
and they gave me really really odd dreams :/
my doctor said another good way to try and put it to rest would be working out
a bit everyday or just being active and using energy so im actually tired at night. ^-^ | |

I have insomnia. I have it bad. No one will fucking diagnose it. Tried 2 kinds of sleeping meds on me and one didn't do shit, the other worked so well that if I took it at 8pm, fell asleep by 9pm, woke up around 10am spend the time from then to 3pm falling asleep standing up.
I wanted ot try a lower dose, but naw bitch was just like "lolwutevernomorepillsforyou"
At least she tried though. My regular doctor told me it was just a "teen" thing and that if I hade a better formed schedule I'd sleep better... Completely ignoring the fact that I often lie awake in bed all night the night before I have a morning appointment I have to be at even if I'd been awake the entire day before trying to sleep.
I rant... I'm just really frustrated with how I've been treated as far as this is concerned.
On a goodnight it takes 2 hours of flopping around the bed. On a bad night... 24-30+ hours.
Sleep schedule seems to be averaging out at about 24-30 hours awake 10 alseep. | |

take benedryll it knocks you out, but it doesnt last as long as sleeping pills... but take it like an hour before you want to go to sleep.
also, my doctor said my insomnia was from anxiety problems... so now i take meds for that and everything seems to be going a lot better...

theres just so many different things that can cause problems. | |

I don't know if I'm an insomniac, I just don't get tired or feel the urge/need to sleep. I have no problem falling asleep though (if that makes any sense).
Plus, night life is just too amazing to sleep through. I'm content just staring out at the train tracks at night. And of course - that one saying
You'll get plenty of sleep when you're dead. | |
