One word posts - new rule

You're allowed to post one word posts, if on topic. If you do it on a large scale, however, prepare to be infracted. (so don't bother trying to get 500 posts by just replying "lol" everywhere)

This only applys to Chat.

then it is on topic. remember, chat allows off topic. So it can be on topic to the off topic. Stuff like "k" just isn't allowed

Ah. I was just wondering, since I posted on a board my husband made, and someone said something along the lines of "lol who's what and whats who's and where what". Basically, they seen my name and my husbands name and got confused because they're almost the same. So I said "Married. xD" and received an infraction. Personally, I don't think it was necessary for such a situation, especially when the mod deleted my post and not theirs. (and ignored my pm about it, waited for a while later when I actually reported the post). So yeah, don't know why I'm throwing this all out there, I just didn't feel an infraction was necessary.

Can infractions for one-word posts be removed with this new rule in place?

If you have been infracted prior to this rule, then the rules that were in motion PRIOR still stand as they did for that specific infraction.

Although, that seems unlike me, and rather mean, so, if you've received an infraction the chat section for "one word posting" IN the chat section and you want it reversed, pm a smod or admin.

Yeah, I knew it was Hatz. I just really think, given the situation, resorting to an infraction was by no means necessary....And ignoring me after the fact was uncalled for. :P
