Shea goodbye.

The Mets lost today, ending their season and hopes for a playoff spot. The Brewers won the Wild Card with the Mets loss, and the Phillies clinched the division yesterday.

Today is also the last game ever played at Shea, the Met's stadium. Their new Stadium, City Field, is built, so they'll be knocking this down shortly. They're doing the ceremony now.

I'm actually like, depressed. :c

What am I going to do with myself until spring training every night?

Aww. At least they are better than Detroit in the matter that they actually knock it down. We've had Comerica Park for many years now and yet Tiger Stadium still stands.

I can't sympathize with you too much though. I'm still pissed at the Tigers. All of a sudden one year *boom* they are good after sucking for years, then they quickly sink back down. It was rather odd.

I wonder where the Mets, and the Yankees pulled the money from to do this within the same year. Even though I am not a baseball fan, I have been both to Shea, and Yankee stadium. Yankee Stadium more because I was born in the Bronx, but I don't think it will be that bad. Just make new memories at the new field. It might be a big change, but it is a grand start for a grand new season.
