We have AP too, but only for juniors and seniors

We have some AP courses, but those are usually for upper class men.
An Honors course you have to apply to get in to, but you don't get college credit.

You have to compete to get into Honor classes? That's crazy. At my school they have what are called honor contracts and If you want to be in Honors you just fill out a contract and you must maintain an 85 or higher in the class.

For us it's a 90, or you can't get in to begin with.
Usually people with the best grades or special permission get in first, then you can apply if you're grades aren't good enough.
There's limited space and shit.

Yeah I've had to go to an interview and write an essay for one, then take this test, and I have to write another essay next week.

But we also need high grades,

I needed to have a 90 in science to take the test (I had 96)

I need to have 94 in english and history to write the next essay, which I have above

Oh.

Well, all those classes I named were AP, everything else is Honors, which we don't need to test into.

Or maybe we do, I dunno, I haven't been below the highest class level since like 5th grade.

And my friend who always brags about how much smarter she is than me (She's Not, but she sometimes does like .4 better on her overall grade than me) didn't get in! It's funny because she was bragging about how easy the test was, and she was the 3rd person done... lmao

Only problem is that hardly anyone I know got in, so I'll be on my own

Honors English (English and history are like combined honors course where what you learn in global relates to english and such)
Honors History
Honors Bio
Science Research (A 3 year research study

)
PLTW Digital Electronics (Engineering course)

So what honors/AP courses are you taking or are trying to get into?

Few, how are your AP classes? With us you have to have Teacher Approval, Guidance Counselor Approval, and at the end of the class you take this test that determines whether you get college credit or not. You have to score a 4 of 5 on the test.
