Re: Nomhak's Application Here

Your sigs are alright but you got to make the background blend in with the render or they will not match

Re: Nomhak's Application Here

Everyone has their unique style, I agree with that your saying. But it isn't always about matching. Colors work together, complementary or contrasts. Either to accentuate the renders, and or other color. Or to to hide, give depth and take focus off the image.

On the examples I used there are no filters, I can also provide evidence to support it. Plus The siggy I'm using does contain a filter but theres a purpose for that, to show that you can make decent sig's EVEN with filters if you learn how to do it right. Kthxbai, maybe you should learn how to use photoshop before you say something. ;)

Make more like those!

With fail/shit/filters, I meant the weird effect on your second image image on first page. Didn't exactly look good :P

Re: Nomhak's Application Here

Your Pulse one is your best one lol.

You have a topic in GC, and I've put some advice in there...
... I think you should just do one sig following it, and see how it goes. You have the know-how, but your sigs just need to be... less spacious.

Re: Nomhak's Application Here

I like larger space to work. When I got into sig making I was iffy because of how small some were, buuuut your right. Though on one of the forums I used to be on (when I really got into sig making) the sig limitations were 500x200, so i floated around those numbers.

Re: Nomhak's Application Here

It only needs to be big if you have stuff to fill the space though :P

Otherwise, I promise you, no gfx community would accept that as an excuse xD

Do a small one for me <3 Like I said, you know what to do, your text is the only thing that ever needs work, but it's like that for everyone.

I think you'd be pleasently surprised by how your work turns out.

Re: Nomhak's Application Here

Ah you bring a good point to my attention. A small sig? if you want anything created I got a page for that. Click my current sig. Your right no space+no things to fill it up does make it seems pointless.
I used to be big in the "empty" space thing, I used to use game renders to make wallpapers, then I shifted into sig creation and the habbits came along?

Thanks for the comp. Though there has been no requests so I just been fooling around on my spare time.
Haha, no never use filters unless theres a reason. Main ones I use are the distort, sharpen, blue, and "other" type of thing.
